Born and raised in Tennessee, Katherine Duckworth’s work focuses on history and memory in the rural south through documentation and fragmented lyric. She received her BA from Mills College and an MFA from Brooklyn College. She is the author of Mexia (2014) and The Soda Can Forever (2015), both from Roseffern Press, and Slow Violence (2023) from Beautiful Days Press. She is a farmer and a teacher.
