Born and raised in Tennessee, Katherine Duckworth’s work focuses on class, violence, and history in the rural south through documentation and fragmented lyric. She received her BA from Mills College in 2016, and an MFA from Brooklyn College in 2019. She is the author of Mexia (2014) and The Soda Can Forever (2015), both from Roseffern Press, and Slow Violence (2023) from Beautiful Days Press. She is a farmer and a teacher.
